Title: Leveraging Ground and Remotely Sensed Observations for Hydrological Prediction Lecturer: Dr. Dongryeol Ryu, Senior Lecturer from Melbourne School of Engineering, The University of Melbourne, Parkville, Victoria, Australia
Date:13:00-14:30, Nov. 18th, 2014
Moderator: Dr. Jiancheng Shi
Venue:Room A503, Olympic Park, State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, RADI, CAS
Dr. Dongryeol Ryu received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees on Earth System Science from University of California, Irvine, in 2006 and 2004, respectively. He also received his M.S. on Geology/Hydrogeology and B.S. on Geological Science from Seoul National University, Seoul, in 2000 and 1997, respectively. His research interest lies in understanding complex interactions between large-scale atmospheric circulations, regional-to-continental-scale hydrologic processes, and vegetation ecosystem through electromagnetic signals (remote sensing) of land/water surface from the optical to the microwave frequency range.
